Electric valve installation
The photos show the two possible application variants of the air recirculation closure cap, which is to be used in the case of open exhaust valve installation and after removing the rubber tube connecting the original valve and the air return circuit.
The yellow cap is to be used only on the Fiat 500 Abarth and 695 tribute Ferrari, on the remaining piping as shown in the photo.
In all other cars using tjet engines, the black plug will have to be inserted on the black plastic nozzle on the engine cover.
In the Fiat 500 Abarth be very careful when removing the valve retaining nuts, as once unscrewed, there is a serious possibility that the bracket on which the threaded pins are housed will fall under the battery resulting in discomfort and loss of time to retrieve it. To avoid this silly problem, remember to put a hand underneath so as to prevent the bracket from falling off.
To disconnect the electrical connector, back off the yellow retaining slide with a small screwdriver, then pry the black tab and pull the connector out of the housing, as shown in the photo.To open the air inlet sleeve retaining clamp, pry it off with a screwdriver in the position as shown in the photo.
