Electropneumatic pop-off valve.
Unlike the pneumatically operated valve, this model represents the evolution in both sound (the air puff) and speed of operation. The air part still turns out to be the same as the previous model. The important change is in the actuation system. Whereas before in our valve and in all existing valves on the market the actuation was pneumatic with related delays, now it is electric so zero delay. Resulting in an increase in the amount of air to be discharged and consequently high sonicity. In addition, opening and closing that follow the driving style exactly, without imposing unfortunate and inappropriate lag situations.
For completeness of information, know that when we talk about electric or pneumatic valves we always mean valves with the exact same functions. The differences are solely and exclusively concerning the opening control. In the electric one there is a magnet that energized by the passage of current pulls to itself a shutter which in turn opens an orifice from where the air to be discharged will then pass. In the pneumatic one, the opening and closing command is given by a small tube that must carry pressure and vacuum to fill or empty a chamber, with either a diaphragm or a piston inside it. In the pressure phase, the force of the same applied on the face of the piston or diaphragm keeps it pushed down, closing the discharge orifice. While in the vacuum phase, a negative force will be applied to the face of the piston or diaphragm which will pull it upward, thus clearing the orifice below and causing the air to discharge.
Having said that, anyone can see for themselves that the electrical performance rate is significantly higher than that of air. The kit consists of pop off valve, control unit, wiring harnesses, mounting templates and instruction with photos.
