Unlike all other existing free-vent valves on the market which have big problems in idle stability, and even bigger problems in vacuum regulation and consequently imperfect operation, we have created and patented a free-vent valve, totally free of such problems. Our new Power Pop will fit in any car equipped with a turbo gasoline engine and without any of the above problems. Operation is guaranteed even in the presence of ignition injection systems with air flow reading by debimeter or hot wire. The valves so far marketed by most manufacturers, in order to overcome the unfortunate “idling” inconvenience, adopt a vacuum regulator, with which the air flow rate (under vacuum) can be established such that the valve cannot be opened under idling conditions. Also not considering that by obstructing or paralyzing the control depression at idle, we are left with a very limited valve opening at throttle release. Hence abnormal condition for the proper functioning of the air exhaust. In our new Power Pop this difficult and inappropriate adjustment, has been eliminated.
