There are many who think that it is enough to pull the spring of the wastegate to harden it and thus get easy horsepower. But few people know that by pulling the spring ( shortening the ‘rod ), yes, a higher pressure is obtained, but a dangerous reduction of the opening flap, because the wastegate stroke is shorter. The exhaust flap, opening less, does not allow the exhaust gases to flow optimally and automatically raises their pressures and temperatures, creating those fateful cracks in the turbine body and dangerously raising the exhaust side backpressure. This can be remedied by simply replacing the Waste Gate with one more suited to the needs of the turbine engine assembly. Our Waste Gates are made entirely of ergal and hard anodized, so they can withstand high pressures and temperatures, and they do not have any type of diaphragm, but rather a piston, whose stroke is double that of a normal Waste Gate. To ‘order simply specify the pressure you want to achieve and the type of car. In some cases our Waste Gates are supplied with bracket and tie rods, in other cases, the assembly requires still using the original bracket. In that case, it will be sufficient to detach the original westegate from its bracket and then you can use it as a support for our Waste Gate.
