Installing Gear Lever 500 Sporting

Take the measurement between the center of the sphere and the rope fixing pin and memorize it.

Remove (via flexi- bile) the sheath passage clip and the control cable holder complete with pin.

Result of the operation in step 2.

Apply the new bracket provided in the kit at a height 45 mm higher than the original one noted previously.
Always keeping the center of the ball and the rope control pin built into the holder as reference.

Tighten the set-screw by making sure in the positioning of the holder with respect to the lever and its size, which should be 45 mm higher than the original one.

Drill the rod holding the existing holes in the stand as a template, taking care to pass both the rod and the shoulder of the stand from the side without holes to
side.
Introduce the two Allen screws and tighten them with the self-locking nuts provided in the kit.
If desired, it will also be possible to just weld the holder, thus avoiding drilling.

Thread the control wire as in the figure.

Thread on the seiger ring to secure the rope.

Thread the princi-pal support into the support pin previously attached to the lever, then reinstall the original seiger ring.
