AND IT HAS THE FUNCTION OF CATALYZING ONLY THE GASES COMING TO THE PROBE.

WHEN SHOULD IT BE INSTALLED ?
SHOULD BE INSTALLED AFTER REMOVAL
FROM THE EXHAUST SYSTEM OF THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

WHERE SHOULD IT BE INSTALLED ?
ONLY ON THE SECOND LAMBDA SENSOR (THE ONE AFTER THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER).

WHY DOES IT NEED TO BE INSTALLED ?
FROM EURO 3 VERSIONS ONWARDS,THE ELIMINATION OF THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER CAUSES
THE ENGINE ANOMALY/POLLUTION WARNING LIGHT TO COME ON.
SUCH A SITUATION IN SOME VEHICLES RESULTS IN A ECU RECOVERY PHASE AFTER A SHORT TIME
.
IN ADDITION, THESE DATA REMAIN WRITTEN IN THE ERROR MEMORY,
THUS GIVING THE POSSIBILITY FOR ANYONE CONNECTED TO THE PRESENCE
DIAGNOSIS,TO DETECT THE TIME AND DISTANCE OF THE ANOMALY.
THE APPLICATION OF THE HKSL DIS ABLES THE
DETECTION BY THE CENTRALITY OF THE ELIMINATION OF THE CATALYZER
BECAUSE THE GASES ARRIVING TO THE LAMBDA PROBE REMAIN
ALWAYS CATALYZED.

BUT IF I INSTALL A SPORT METAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND HKSL SYSTEMS
EVEN IN THE PRESENCE OF SOME 100 / 200 CELL CATALYTIC CONVERTERS THE LAMBDA SENSOR
COULD STILL REPORT ANOMALY,NO LONGER OF MISSING CATALYTIC CONVERTER
BUT OF CLOGGED CATALYTIC CONVERTER
IN THIS CASE THE APPLICATION OF HKSL WOULD INVOLVE
EQUALLY THE ANOMALY DETECTION, NOTING IT AS SUCH:
FULL CATALYTIC CONVERTER, INEFFICIENT OR LOW-SIGNAL SECOND LAMBDA SENSOR.
ALL BECAUSE THE CATALYZATION OF 100 OR 200 CELLS ADDED TO THE
CATALYSIS OF HKSL INVOLVES EXCESSIVE CATALYSIS OF GASES.
GIVING THE LAMBDA SENSOR AN OUT-OF-STANDARD GAS COMPOSITION.

SO WHICH SOLUTION SHOULD I ADOPT WITH SPORTIVE CATALYZER ?
IN THIS CASE THE SOLUTION IS TO MOVE THE THREADED ATTACHMENT OF THE
LAMBDA PROBE SUPPORT,BEFORE THE CATALYZER.
THEN INSTALL THE PROBE WITH RELATED HKSL
THUS GIVING IT THE CHAIN TO READ THE CORRECTLY CATALYZED GAS.

ATTENTION THE INSIDE OF THE SYSTEM IS CERAMIC MATERIAL
ACCIDENTAL SHOCKS OR DROPS MAY CAUSE IT TO BREAK.
