ACTSWITCH Valve installation and remote control usage instructions

For the installation of the mechanical part, it is exactly like replacing the original valve.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE LENGTH OF THE 6 MM THREAD FIXED ON THE ORIGINAL BRACKET, AS IN SOME CASES, ITS LENGTH COULD DIRECTLY INTERFERE WITH THE ROUND BODY OF OUR VALVE, PREVENTING IT FROM FULLY ENGAGING IN ITS PLASTIC RETAINING SEAT.

IN THIS CASE, SHORTEN THE LENGTH OF THE THREAD.

The cable with the bipolar connector must be connected to the original connector that previously controlled the original valve (PHOTO 1).

Meanwhile, the electrical system of the linear actuator must be connected directly to the battery.

Alternatively, if preferred, it can be connected to a switched positive source, considering the minimal current consumption.

When not in use, it can remain (if preferred) connected directly to the battery. Connect the black cable to the negative battery terminal and the red cable with the fuse holder to the positive battery terminal. For convenience, the terminal lug for the red cable is intentionally not attached, so you can fix it only after determining the most useful length. Once the connections are made, secure the cables with the supplied cable ties and mount the control unit using the pre-applied double-sided adhesive in the most convenient position.

The remote control features two buttons: UP and DOWN (PHOTO 2).

In the DOWN position, the valve is in silent mode. In the UP position, the valve is in open exhaust mode and is therefore loud; holding the UP button for approximately 3 seconds will result in full rotation to the wide-open position: loud mode (PHOTO 3).

Holding the DOWN button for approximately 3 seconds will result in full rotation to the fully closed position: silent mode (PHOTO 4).

By repeatedly pressing either the UP or DOWN button, you can achieve partial rotation of the drum between open and closed. This allows you to find the most suitable position for your desired sound.

Keep in mind that partially restricting the air outlet to reduce sound does not mean choking the flow. Rather, it means deciding how much air will exit to create sound, while the remainder is recycled and returned to the turbine intake as originally intended.
