RPT Turbine Pressure Regulator
CONNECTIONS:
THE RED PIPE CORRESPONDS TO THE TURBINE PRESSURE INLET
THE BLUE PIPE CORRESPONDS TO THE AIR OUTLET TO WASTE GATE
SO IN THE RED WE HAVE PRESSURE COMING IN.
IN THE BLUE WE HAVE THE PRESSURE COMING OUT AND GOING TO THE WASTE GATE.
REVERSING SUCH PIPES WILL CERTAINLY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR/TURBINE ASSEMBLY!
To increase the pressure, it is SUFFICIENT to hold the blue and rotate the red clockwise.
As the same contains a rotating hose holder which allows the hose not to drag during the adjustment phase, preventing it from working as an antagonist on the rotation made.
To decrease the pressure rotate counterclockwise.
There is a working limit stop at this stage.
DO NOT FORCE BEYOND THAT POINT.
The regulator comes pre-calibrated for a pressure increase of 0.1 to 0.2 tenths of a bar.
THE CONTROLLER INCORPORATES AN AUTOMATIC LOCKING SYSTEM OF THE SET SET POINT SO NO OPERATION IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PREVENT UNINTENTIONAL ROTATION.
LIKE ALL SYSTEMS DESIGNED TO INCREASE BOOST PRESSURE, THIS SYSTEM OF OURS, IF NOT CALIBRATED AND USED CORRECTLY, CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE.
